1G retractable rocker switch (with return), finished in stainless steel. The rocker arms are made of solid metal and feature our signature diamond-cut pattern with cross-hatched grooves. This retractable switch has a spring-loaded mechanism that returns the switch to its original position and is sometimes referred to as a “push-to-make,” “push button,” or “finishing switch.”

Our retractable toggle switch can be paired with industry-standard smart control modules (with inputs for retractable switches) to control various functions, such as lighting, blinds, gates, etc., in your home. For example, when used in a lighting circuit, a short press turns the light on or off. A long press cycles the brightness up and then down to reach the desired brightness level. When connected to the same circuit as a blind, a short press fully opens or closes the blind, and a long press partially raises or lowers the blind until you release the button.

Our retractable toggle switch can be paired with a retractable dimmer module to allow brightness adjustment from multiple locations. Please note: This switch requires the B+P retractable dimmer module (CDM-142038) or a smart dimmer module that supports a retractable input to function. We recommend consulting a qualified electrician. Retractable switches are not compatible with 2/3-way switching.

This product will be shipped as three separate items—a board, a module, and a parts kit.
