Manutti Kobo Outdoor Daybed – Braided Rope, 360° Wheels

The Kobo daybed is the collection’s statement piece: a 202 × 206 cm oasis of relaxation, featuring a high backrest and an abundance of cushions that transform any corner of the garden into a resort-style daybed. Designed by Stephane De Winter, the founder of Manutti, this piece is where the collection’s technical complexity—hand-woven rope on welded aluminum—reaches its peak.

Design and Materials

The spacious frame, fully wrapped in 45-mm synthetic rope (Anthracite 4R03 or Pepper 4R04), features a complete set of high-back cushions: a generous seat, three back cushions, and five extra-soft Turo decorative cushions included (three 60×60 and two 40×40). Optionally, the 360° swivel wheel set—six swivel wheels plus one maneuvering wheel—makes the daybed mobile: you can rotate it to follow the sun or move it into the shade effortlessly, a rare engineering detail on this scale.

Pillows and Textiles

The pillow set is included in the price, featuring quick-drying foam and a water-repellent, breathable inner layer. From the selector, choose the fabric category: C145 Salty White (Cat. B), the collection’s quick-ship fabric, or a fabric of your choice from the Manutti collection, Cat. A or Cat. C. All fabrics are designed for outdoor use—UV-resistant, saltwater- and chlorine-resistant, and machine-washable at 30°C. The frame is available in two rope finishes: Anthracite (4R03) and Pepper (4R04)—please specify your preference when ordering.

Delivery Time

Each Kobo piece is crafted by Manutti according to the chosen configuration, with delivery within 6–8 weeks of order confirmation. For configurations featuring the C145 Salty White quick-ship fabric, the delivery time is reduced to 2–3 weeks.

Maintenance

The synthetic rope and electrostatic-painted aluminum frame do not require seasonal maintenance: they can be cleaned with warm water and mild soap. The cushions are upholstered in outdoor fabrics that are washable at 30°C and resistant to UV rays, saltwater, and chlorine. For the cold season, we recommend the dedicated Manutti protective cover, available as an option.
