Care and maintenance:

  • Clean the oval with warm water and liquid dish detergent, using a soft sponge. Soaking in warm water and detergent overnight is recommended if food sticks to food.
  • Avoid using abrasives or metal brushes which may damage the chiseled surface.
  • Wipe the metal handle with a damp cloth and avoid chemicals.
  • To maintain the non-stick properties, it is recommended to oil the surface periodically with cooking oil.

Note: Pot is not suitable for use in the microwave oven and the cast iron product may become very hot during use. Use heat-resistant gloves to avoid burns and place the cooker on heat-resistant supports to protect surfaces.
